Recently had a class reunion with my jc class! haha ok not so recently, it's taken me a really long while to load up the photos onto the blog. more photos are on my facebook. i just picked some of my favourite shots. It was my first foray into flash photog as well as portraits! sammie! i like the way the light falls on her face in this picture. yancy. haha this was mega cropped. i was just in disbelief at the quality even post cropping. in the original shot, her face was about the size of a 10 cent coin. haha gay self portrait. but i like it! shoes shoes shoes. see hwee. i like the DOF. haha i like samantha's expression. i love this photo a lot. i took so many photos of ellen because she is gorgeous and has really awesome skin. i don't know that the focus is perfect, but i like the effect and the outcome. good food! rina! why do people from my exjc class have such nice skin??? siqing. she's someone else i took a ton of photos of. cause she was in a nice position and also cause she's got awesome skin. i like the smooth skin of the shoulder and her hand across it. lovely :) haha i just like this photo. i don't know why. haha.

the choice.
I read this a while back and forgot about it till i started cleaning out my stuff. Thought it would be nice to share. It's quiet. It's early. My coffee is hot. The sky is still black. The world is still asleep. The day is coming. In a few moments, the day will arrive. It will roar down the track with the rising sun. The stillness of the dawn will be exchanged for the noise of the day The calm solitude will be replaced by the pounding pace of the human race. The refuge of early morning will be invaded by decisions to be made and deadlines to be met.For the next 12 hours, I will be exposed to the day's demands. It is now that I must make a choice. And so I choose.I choose love...No occasion justifies hatred; no injustice warrants bitterness. Today I will love God and what God loves.I choose joy...I will invite God to be the God of circumstance. I will refuse the temptation to be cynical - the tool of the lazy thinker. I will refuse to see people as anything less than human beings, created by God. I will refuse to see any problem as anything less than an opportunity to see God. I choose peace...I will live forgiven. I will forgive so that I may live I choose patience...I will overlook the inconveniences of the world. Instead of cursing the one who takes my place, I will invite him to do so. Rather than complain the wait is too long, I will thank God for a moment to pray. Instead of clenching my fist at new assignments, I will face them with joy and courage. I choose goodness...I will go without a dollar before I take a dishonest one. I will be overlooked before I will boast. I will confess before I will accuse. I choose goodness. I choose faithfulness...Today I will keep my promises. My debtors will not regret their trust. My associates will not question my word. My wife will not question my love. And my children will never fear that their father will not come home. I choose gentleness...Nothing is won by force. I choose to be gentle. If I raise my voice, may it only be in praise. If I clench my fist, may it only be in prayer. If I make a demand, may it only be of myself.I like best the last one.

a prayer.
For all the people who have ever waited outside the surgical theatres, hands clasped in prayer. To all those who have ever kept vigil in the hallways of a hospital. To those to have ever fallen asleep by the bedside of someone you love.
Have heart, keep hope close to you.
For those who lie in those beds, in the trolleys. To those who fight the enemy they can't see, who are braver than most of us will ever dream we can be in our lifetimes.
Don't stop fighting, keep hope close to you.
A prayer tonight, for peace and calm. Dear God, you know us best. Give calm and peace and faith to those who need it. Never stop reminding us to hope for the best. We try our best, and the rest is in Your hands. Help us. Keep everyone of us safe.
