I think it's important for all of us to try to step into someone else's shoes for a day, as corny as it may sound. I think that everyone's very caught up in their own rights and their own grand scheme of what's fair, what's not, what they deserve, what should be done. sometimes, it's not about you or what you deserve or what your rights are or what you're missing out on. sometimes, it's about the patients, the people you work with, the people you work under and the people who have more experience than you. sometimes, you should just give way, even if it is your right, even if you're right, cause sometimes it's not about who's right, it's just about the little respect you can afford someone and the small sacrifices that make someone else's life a little better or easier.
there's really a difference between letting yourself get stepped on and taken advantage of and being someone who isn't gracious.
i wonder if i'm wrong to think that other people have warped ideals, perhaps it's me that has the kooky perceptions.
